Nikon Charitable Contributions Support Local and Global Organizations
Nikon Precision, through its Charitable Contributions Committee (CCC), is proud to support a number of charitable and non-profit organizations with financial contributions. Many contributions to national organizations and international relief efforts are ongoing annually, while other opportunities to support charitable endeavors are recommended by employees, or local Nikon offices.
In addition to numerous localized fundraisers including the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure in Portland, and the San Francisco Bay Area Heart Walk, the company also hosts an annual food drive competition between regional offices─with the CCC providing funds to match employee contributions. A noteable regional highlight was “Corners for the Cure,” during which the Saint Anselm women’s field hockey team got sponsors to pledge for each penalty corner in the month of October and raised $10,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Additional organizations receiving contributions from Nikon Precision include: the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MDA-Aisles of Smiles, the American Cancer Society, Save The Children, the Humane Society, World Wildlife Fund, the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the American Red Cross, and many more.
